Are you struggling to find the best present for someone who works out a lot, or is wanting to get into fitness?
Here are some of my favorite products to help you narrow down your search!
- Fitness Wearables – You can’t go wrong with a smart watch (or another wearable). They can be helpful for tracking things like: Steps, Sleep, Workouts and more. I currently have an apple watch – but my next big purchase will be a Garmin watch. They have a much higher battery life and have a lot more fitness minded features comparatively.
The great thing about smart watches is that they come in a variety of prices ranges. Because let’s face it – 300-500+ is a lot to spend on a watch. If money is a little tight, consider a fitbit. They start at around 70$. There are also a lot of different options on Amazon that work just as well, find something with a high number of 4 or 5 star reviews.
Like this one: Get Tracking
2. A Massage Gun – this little thing has come in handy after many soul crushing workouts. It really helps you get into the nooks and crannies. Now, it’s definitely not as good as a massage with a professional. But this will do the job in a pinch.
I like this one: Get loose-y goose-y
3. A Smart Massage Cup – Do you like the benefits of cupping in massage sessions? Well what a time to be alive – they have a SMART Massage Cup now. Wild, right?! Be sure to try it on the lowest setting first. It can be really intense. They also can come with red light therapy which has been shown to further promote healing and recovery, circulate blood and help rejuvenate the skin.
This is the one I have: Get Cupping
4. Shoes – A new pair of workout shoes – now, if your person is running or lifting more – you’ll want to get specific shoes to this. Running shoes, you want something cushy while supportive – like Hoka’s or New Balance. For lifting, you want something more low profile – like NoBull, Vivobarefoot, or Whitin. I personally like Whitin – I like the wide-toe box and zero drop. But everyone has there own preference and style! Maybe consider a gift card as a worst case!
These are the ones I use and LOVE: Get footsy
5. Resistance Bands – If your person is looking to do more workouts at home, I would consider gifting them resistance bands. They give a lot of bang for their buck, and can be used to add a challenge to almost any movement. And are easy to use. There’s a lot of types though and they all provide different functions. Here are the ones I like and use regularly with clients and in classes.
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3
6. Adjustable Dumbbells – These are a great option for home workouts. Allowing for a lot of progress, but saving space with having multiple weight options in one. I have an in-home personal training client that has a pair and they’re nice for when I want to throw a bigger challenge at her but don’t need to lug in my own weights.
They can be pricy though – so just be aware of that! And sometime’s it’s just a single dumbbell, so make sure you’re looking at that if you go to buy them.
Here’s a decently priced option for a PAIR: Get Lifting
7. A gift card to their gym, or a new one – If they’ve been noodling on trying a new gym, get them a gift certificate to one so that they can try it out. Or offer to pay for a month, if the facility doesn’t offer a gift certificate.
We offer them! You can reach out via email: [email protected]
This is not an exhaustive list. Obviously there’s things like workout clothes, water bottles, towels, ect. The sky is the limit. But if you’re struggling with ideas or not sure what brands to go for, these are some solid options. Regardless, they’ll love that you thought of them. And worse case – get a gift receipt!
Happy Holidays!
